Biography
Born about 1625 Richard Croke was the eldest son of Unton Croke and his wife, Anne Hore. [1] [2] He was educated at Winchester and Inner Temple being called to the Bar in 1646.[2]
By 1654 he was married to Elizabeth Wright daughter of London goldsmith, Martin Wright.[2] They were parents of 5 sons, 3 of whom predeceased Richard. [2]
Elizabeth died on the 27th of March 1683 and Richard followed on the 14th of September. [2]
