Biography

US Black Heritage Project
Nathaniel Crockett is a part of US Black heritage.

Nathaniel was born in 1908 in Mississippi. He was the son of John Crockett and Willie Crockett. In 1920 he was living with his parents and siblings in Franklin County, Mississippi.[1]

In 1930 Nathaniel was living with wife Evie and grandmother Harriett Crockett in Franklin County, Mississippi where he was working in a saw mill.[2]

Nathaniel served in the U.S. Army during World War II from January to June of 1943.[3]

In 1950 Nathaniel and Eva were living with one son in Chicago, Illinois where he worked for a railway car manufacturer.[4]

He passed away in 1985 in Cook County, Illinois.[5]
