Biography

The son of John Crittenden and Maybell (Avery) Crittenden, John Crittenden was born in Saline Township Michigan^{[citation needed]} in 1909, residing there with his family.^[1][2][3]

Lewis married Margaret Josephine (Pennington) Crittenden the daughter of William Henry Pennington and Helena Mae Dryer, in Elkhart, County Indiana on June 25, 1934^[4] and having four children together. They made their home in Saline Township, farming.^[5][6]

Lewis Crittenden passed away in Ann Arbor, Michigan^[7] at the age of 71, residing last in Superior Township,, Michigan,^[8][9] and is buried at Macon Cemetery in rural Lenawee County, Michigan.^[10]
