Hi John,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or special event. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.

Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

Hi Paula - thank you for your posted question. I do believe that this a different Crim line; I do not recognize and of the names you mentioned. Could your John Crim have married more than once? My John Crim ancestor is Crim-88, born 1701; his son is Joseph Crim-89, born 1760, which is the Crims I am under. If I come up with anything, I will post it here. Are you able to read my family tree and see if there is a brother of my line who had a John Crim in your line?

Hello - my name is Paula Crim Frazee and I am looking for information about my great-great grandfather whose name was also John Crim. He married Lucy Narramore in 1861 in Clay County, Missouri. His son was named William Russell Barnett Crim, his son was named Russell Bryant Crim and his son was my father, William David Crim. Do we have a connection to your family that you know of?

Hi John

Thank you for joining WikiTree. As a WikiTree Mentor I am available to answer any questions or help solve any issues you may be having.

How To Use WikiTree is a good starting point and the Help Index is an important place to find out how to do most tasks.

Do you have Royal Ancestors? They are already here on Wikitree! Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.

I am looking for info on Harriet Hill, Mother of Hannah Hill-Crim. Harriet is my great-grandmother. She is from Canada and is buried there possibly.

Thank you, John, for volunteering to help grow our worldwide family tree.

Our Honor Code, G2G message forum, help pages, search features, and many other useful links can be accessed from the menus on the upper right corner of most pages.

VERY IMPORTANT: The more documents, sources, dates, and locations you provide on the profiles you create, the stronger your branches and our mutual global tree will be. If you don't know the correct date, please estimate using before or after.

Thank you for helping in our mission to build a global tree with only one profile per person.

Hope you enjoy WikiTree!

I have been interested in genealogy since 2000, and have enjoyed the journey. A lot of people have contributed to the information that I use for creating a family tree.
