Benjamin was born about 1799 in Virginia.

He visited in their homes, as long as his health permitted. Benjamin was a strong & determined man. Being an excellent craftsman of furniture, he sold furniture to local stores. In the last days of his life, Benjamin was with his sister in her home. She loved & was a nurse to Benjamin. ( Benjamin's Cregger ancestors were of German descent. Some say Benjamin spoke with a German accent.) Family Members Spouse Jane H Pennington Cregger 1803-1879 Children Joseph Pennington Kreger 1819-1900 Michael Charles Crigger 1833-1919

Benjamin was living in the household of his son, Sylvester, and his family in 1850 in Wythe County, Virginia.[6] By 1860, he was living alone, but next dorr to Sylvester and his family.[7]

He passed away about 1878 in Wythe County, Virginia..
