Biography

Mary was the daughter of Edward Crank and his wife Joyce.^[1][2] She was baptised at St. Martin in Birmingham on 16th October 1668.^[3]

She married Abraham Maw in 1688 and they had:^[1]

1. Robert, who died in 1753
2. Elizabeth, who died in 1765^[4]
3. Mary, who died before her mother.

Mary died in January 1761,^[1] and Administration of her estate was granted to her daughter Elizabeth.^[5] There is a memorial slip to her in the floor of the church at Hatford,^[6] her brother Edward Cranke had been Rector there up until 1756.^[7]
