Harold Sydney Waldron Crabbe was born on 7 November 1867 in Dunolly, Victoria, Australia, son of Alicia (Bernard) Crabbe and Thomas Crabbe.^{[citation needed]}

He married Maggie Dawson on 14 October 1893 at St John's Church, Adelaide, South Australia.^[1]

Harold died on 29 August 1911 in Subiaco, Western Australia, aged 43 years.^{[citation needed]}
