Emma Theresa COXHEAD was born on 13 Nov 1835 in Lambeth, Surrey, England^[1]. Her parents were Henry COXHEAD and Mary HEADFORD.

1851, 15 year old, House servant, Emma COXHEAD was living in King Street, Saint Saviour, Surrey, England with her parents, Henry (age 45, Glass cutter) and Mary (44); siblings, Ebenezer (13), Henry (11) and Harriett (3); and lodgers, Aldeal HAWKINS (38, Artist) and Thomas COUSENS (45, Teacher Of Languages)^[2]

The ship, Dalhousie set sail from London, England via Plymouth on 27 April 1852 with the COXHEAD family among the passengers and arrived in Hobson's Bay, Colony of Victoria on 26 July 1852^[3][4].
