Biography

Thomas McGregor Cox was born in 1908.^[1] He is the son of Bertrand Cox and Mildred Morison.

He married Moira Hardiman at St. Peter's Church, Kiama, on the 19th of April, 1933,^[2][3][4] and they established The Links House together, a guesthouse at the old Naval College in Jervis Bay Territory.^[5] Moira died 12 September, 1934.

He remarried to Lilian Isabel Isles in Sydney in December, 1935.^[6]

Thomas enlisted at in the Naval Auxiliary Patrol at Jervis Bay in 1942, and served until 1946. The NAP was part of the Royal Australian Naval Volunteer Reserve from 1942, and was charged with patroling Australian waters.^[7]

He died on the 9th of February, 1971.^[8][9]
