Elizabeth Cox was born abt 1622 in Henrico Virginia. Elizabeth was the daughter of William Cox (1598-1656) and Elizabeth (Hutchins) Cox (1612-1664).

Elizabeth married Robert Porter (1620-1651) in Henrico County, Virginia, United States in 1648. Robert was the son of Robert Porter and Jane (Godfrey) Porter.

Robert and Elizabeth Porter were the parents of the following known children: Robert Porter, Alice Porter, William Porter and Anne Porter.

Elizabeth (Cox) Porter died in 1690 in Henrico County, Virginia, United States.
