Anne was born in 1834.
In the 1841 England Census Moses Coverley 45 born about 1796 in Lincolnshire, England, agricultural labourer, was head of his household in South Witham, Beltisloe, Colsterworth, Grantham, Lincolnshire, England. Other Household Members were: his wife Elizabeth Coverley 40, and their children, all born in Lincolnshire: Thomas Coverley 12, Moses Coverley 10, Ann Coverley 7, and William Coverley 4. [1]
In the 1861 England Census Moses Y Coverley 68 born about 1793 in Castle Bytham, Lincolnshire, England, agricultural labourer, was head of his household in 10 West St, South Witham, Colsterworth, Grantham, Lincolnshire, England Other Household Members were: his wife Elizabeth Coverley 61 born 1800 in Little Bytham, their daughter Ann Coverley 27 born 1834 South Witham, their granddaughter Elizabeth A Coverley 1 born 1860 in South Witham, and their daughter Elizabeth Coverley 22 born 1839 in South Witham.[2]
Anne Coverley married John Whitfield in Apr-May-Jun 1861 in Grantham, Lincolnshire. [3]
Ann, 28, and John, 29, arrived on 27 November 1862 on 'Conway' to Queensland.[4]
John died in the following year, and Ann remarried in 1865 to Henry Iles.[5]
Ann died in 1912 in Queensland.[6]
