Biography
Frederick Courtney was born in Sussex, England.
Frederick was born about 1837. He is the son of George Courtney and Sarah Wilkinson.[1]
He may have been the Master of the 'Two Sisters' in 1861- he signed the census form for the ship that night (brother George was a visitor on board), but he must have gone ashore. In 1861 he is a visitor, to his wife's family named DAVID in Wales. He is Master of Polla by 1871.[2][3]
