Biography

Marie was born on 14 August 1857 and baptized the next day in Bouctouche. ^[1] Her godparents were Olivier LeBlanc and Magdeleine Bastarache.

She married Malcolm LeBlanc on 16 November 1885 in Bouctouche.^[2][3]

In 1891, Malcolm, Marie and their 4 daughters were living with Malcolm’s parents. Malcolm’s brother Anselme, his wife Marcelline and their 4 children were also living in the same busy household.^[4]

By 1901 Malcolm and Marie had their own home, and 10 children.^[5]

In the 1911 census, there were 8 of their children left in the household. Their daughter Annie, her husband Joseph and their children Susie, Edgar and Elise were living with them.^[6]

She passed away in 1945.

Marie was born in 1857. She passed away in 1916. ^[7]
