Biography

Thomas Reginald Arthur Cooke was born in 1904 in Wellington, New Zealand. He was the only son of Thomas Cooke and Maud Elliott. [1] In 1911 the family moved to Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, where his father oblained work as a builder. His father was killed in action in France in July 1916 and posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross. The family returned to Wellington to live before the end of the war, his mother marrying again there in 1920.

Aged 20 years, he passed away in 1925 in New Zealand. [2]
