Neville James Cook was born on 11th October 1916 in Augathella, Queensland, Australia. He was the son of Neville Cook and Janet Morris.
Neville married Agnes Corbett on 13th December 1941 in Brisbane, Queensland. [1]
On 9th June 1942 Neville enlisted in the Australian Army's Volunteer Defence Corps for service during the Second World War. He was posted to the 7th Battalion and attained the senior non-commissioned rank of Sergeant. He was discharged on 21st October 1945. [2] For his service he was awarded the Australia Service Medal 1939-1945.
He passed away, aged 43 years, on 27th June 1960 in Queensland.[3]
