Biography

Paul Theodore Conord was born on 28 Oct 1863 in West Hoboken, New Jersey.[1][2][3][4] He was the first son of Jean Marie Conord and Marie Louise Antoinette Chastel.

Paul married Mary E. House, the daughter of William Ollie House and Margaret Susan Fomey[5] on 6 Oct 1887, in West Hoboken, New Jersey.[6] They had five children:

1) Paul A., b. 5 Jul 1888
2) Walter T., b. 4 Oct 1891, d. 4 Aug 1892
3) Herbert C., b. 28 Nov 1892
4) George W., b. 20 Mar 1894
5) Lauraine L., b. 13 Aug 1899

Like his father, Paul grew and cultivated mushrooms.[7]

Paul was a world traveler. Some examples are as follows:

1) 8 Apr 1905 - Havana, Cuba and again in Sept 1920 [8][9]
2) 29 Sep 1920 - Key West, Fl[9]
3) 10 Aug 1929 - Hamilton, Bermuda[10]
4) France, numerous times to visit family.[11]
5) 16 Apr 1939 - Antwerp, Belgium[12]
6) 28 Feb 1941 - Nice, France. Issued a replacement passport.[13]
7) 16 Nov 1942 - Lisbon, Portugal[13]

Paul died on 15 Jun 1948 at the age of 84.[14]
