The Veil worn by Veronica Ellen, second daughter of Mrs. Connors, of Mackie-st, Victoria Park, with her white lace bridal gown on Nov. 8 was loaned by her sister for the occasion. She carried a bouquet of white gladioli to add to her frocking, as she entered St. Mary's Cathedral with her brother, Mr. R. A. Connors. Dr Kennedy officiated and heard the bride and groom (who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fitzgerald, of East Perth), make their solemn promises. Mrs. G. Moore (sister of the bride) and Miss Edna Wallace, wore lace, in pink and blue, with matching headdresses, comple-mented with gladioli in pink and mauve. Messrs. George Fitzger-ald and R. Connors attended the groom. Mrs. Connors, wearing rose pink, and the groom's sister (frocked in black georgette) received at Wembley Hall, Perth, after the ceremony.[3]
Veronica passed away on 31 March 199 in Western Australia.[4]
