1. ↑ Source: * Portsmouth Herald March 14, 1925, Page 5 TIMOTHY CONNORS CALLED BY DEATH Well Known Resident Goes to His Reward Following Long Illness Timothy Connors, a well known resident of this city, died, early this morning at his home, 103 Daniels Street, following a lingering illness. ..'Mr. Connors was a native of Ireland but has resided in this city for nearly forty years and where all his friends will read of his death with much sorrow. "Tim" Connors was a faithful and loyal friend to all he knew and an enemy was a stranger to him. This can be surely said of the man is gone. He possessed a genial disposition and his life was a story of hard and honest work. For many years be was employed by the Portsmouth Brewing Company and later in the navy yard. He served as a member of the former Common Council and was a member of the A. O. H., Fraternal Order of agles, Court Rockingham Foresters of America and the Larkin Club. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Anna, five brothers, Maurice, Bartholomew and Thomas, of this City, Daniel of Detroit, Michael in Ireland and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Callaghan of Brighton. Mass.
