Elizabeth Colwell (aka Caldwell) was born in Shobrooke on 23 January 1846, and was baptised there on 15 February 1846, she was the daughter of John and Ann ^{[1] [2]}

Thomas Hawkins married Elizabeth Caldwell on 16 May 1868 in Shobrooke, their fathers were recorded as Richard Hawkins and John Caldwell ^[3]
