(7) JUDITH COLLINS (dau. of Joseph Collins and Lucy Marchbanks) was born in Halifax Co,, VA about 1754. [1]

On May 4, 1769, the will of Isaac Martin was witnessed in Halifax Co., VA by Joseph Collins, Stephen Collins, Tabitha Collins and Judith Collins.

Robert Bowmar, Stephen Collins, Joseph Collins, Joel Collins, Elisha Prewitt, Robert Prewitt, Joshua Prewitt, William Hall, James Cox and Thomas Glass were members of the Bowman Expedition through the Kentucky wilderness to Bowman's Station on Dick's River.

William Hall, Thomas Glass and later Stephen Collins, went on to Lexington, Kentucky.

The July 26, 1787 Tax List, Fayette Co., KY lists Thomas Glass with 1 black over 16 and 2 horses.

On Dec. 4, 1798, deed of Stephen Collins of Fayette County to James Sweeney of Bourbon County, for 10 Pounds, 1 acre in Montgomery County, South side of Joseph Collins Town line of his 400 acre survey. Witnesses: Joel Collins, Judith Glass and John Downing (Fayette Deed Bk B, p. 176).

Also on Dec. 4, 1798, deed of Joel Collins of Woodford County to James Sweeney of Bourbon County, 400 acres in Montgomery County, granted by State of Virginia to Joseph Collins. Witnesses: Stephen Collins, Judith Glass and John Downing (Fayette Deed Bk B, p. 177).

On May 15, 1825, Thomas Glass was bondsman for the marriage of Christina "Chana" Prewitt and William Lampton in Jefferson Co., KY (Jefferson Bk 1, p. 164). Books Collins/Marchbanks History
