Henry Paterson (1811-bef.1888) and Jane Collin were "irregularly married"[4] at Lamberton Inn (Lamberton Toll), Lamberton, Berwickshire, Scotland, on 7 October 1832. Their marriage was subsequently confirmed by the Eyemouth Kirk session on 9 June 1833.[5][6]

Prideaux Paterson (bef.1833-1913) was born in 1833 at Spittal, Tweedmouth, Northumberland, England and was baptised on 22 September 1833 at Tweedmouth, Northumberland, England.
Robert Paterson (bef.1835-1895) was born in 1835 at Eyemouth, Berwickshire, Scotland and was baptised on 12 July 1835 at Tweedmouth, Northumberland, England.
John Paterson (bef.1837-1881) was born in Eyemouth, Berwickshire, Scotland, and was baptised on 18 June 1837 at St. Bartholomew, Tweedmouth, Northumberland, England.
Henry Paterson (bef.1839-1902) was born in 1839 at Eyemouth, Berwickshire, Scotland and was baptised on 19 May 1839 at Tweedmouth, Northumberland, England.
Alexander Paterson (bef.1841-1904) was born in 1841 at Eyemouth, Berwickshire, Scotland and was baptised on 4 April 1841 at Tweedmouth, Northumberland, England.
George Patterson (1843-1900) was born on 1 February 1843 and was baptised on 26 February 1843 at Eyemouth, Berwickshire, Scotland.
Henry and Jane moved to Eyemouth in 1833-34, after the birth of their son Prideaux who was baptised at Tweedmouth on 22 September 1833. All of their children after Prideaux up until the 1843 birth of their son George, were born at Eyemouth and baptised at Tweedmouth.
In 1841 Jane, Henry and family were at Shore, Eyemouth, Berwickshire, Scotland.[7] In 1851 Jane (as "Jean"), Henry and family were at Eyemouth, Berwickshire, Scotland.[8] In 1861 Jane and family were at Quay Lane, Eyemouth, Berwickshire, Scotland[9] In 1871, Jane, Henry, and son Henry were at Marine Parade, Eyemouth, Berwickshire, Scotland.[10] In 1881, Jane, Henry, and son Henry were at High Street, Eyemouth, Berwickshire, Scotland.[11]
Jane died at High Street, Eyemouth, Berwickshire, Scotland on 17 October 1886 at age 79 of Hemiplegia and Senile Gangrene.[1]
