Texas Robert Coleman, Indian fighter, soldier at the Battle of San Jacinto and signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence.

Husband of Elizabeth. Father of Albert, James, Thomas, Sarah Elizabeth, Sarah Ann, Rebecca. Drowned while bathing in the Brazos River at Velasco. Coleman County, Texas was named in honor.[1][2] [3]
