Born on the 19th of September 1594 at Huntingfield in Suffolk, Clement Coke was the sixth son of Sir Edward Coke [1] and his wife, Bridget Paston. [2] He was educated at Westminster School and Trinity College, Cambridge. [2]
By the 14th of December 1613 he had married Sarah Reddish, daughter of Alexander Reddish of Reddish in Lancashire. [2] They were parents of two sons and three daughters. [2]
There is a monument to his memory in the Temple Church in London. [1]
