Mary Anne was born 1 March 1866 at Freanacreeve, Lissonuffy, Roscommon. She is the daughter of James Coffey and Bridget Murphy.^[1]

Mary (age 17) arrived on 19 February 1883 in New York, New York, United States having departed from Liverpool, England and Queenstown, Ireland^[2] correct age was 17, though it says 11 in the image.
