Philemon Kenney was born in 1907. He was the son of John Kenney Coffee and Amanda Jackson.

In the 1920 census Philman (age 13) was the son of John Coffey in Justice Precinct 2, Lamar, Texas.^[1]

Philemon served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1942 to 1945.^[2]

Philemon married Ruth E McDowell on 22 September 1943 in Texas, United States.^[3]

In the 1950 census Philemon (age 43), Cutting Cedar, was the married son of John K Coffee in Blanco, Texas, United States.^[4]

He passed away in 1989 in Blanco County, Texas.^[5] He was buried in Peyton Cemetery in Blanco County, ^[6]
