Biography

Leslie Ann Coder was born 30 December 1958 at Clinton, Clinton County, Iowa, United States of America, a daughter of Bruce Coder and Emily Whitehead.^[1][2] Emily married John Murphy in July 1961.^[1]

Leslie A Murphy married Michael S Perry on 18 November 1978 at Hardin County, Kentucky. Michael was 22 years of age.^[3]

At the time of her sister’s death on 1 June 1985, Leslie was serving in the United States Army at Fort Gordon, Georgia.^[4]

Leslie and Michael divorced in 1985 at Norwalk, Fairfield County, Connecticut.^[5]

Leslie Ann Perry married Edward Roy Scruggs on 1 May 1989 at Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado. Leslie was from Greenville, Muhlenberg County, Kentucky; and Edward was from Baltimore, Maryland.^[6]

When her mother died in March 2002, Leslie Scruggs was living in Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee.^[7]

Leslie died 3 September 2021 at Rock Hill, York County, South Carolina.^[8]
