Research Notes

There is no confirmation that the Jean Cochrane who died in 1784 was the daughter of John Cochrane and Anne Hunter, but it is likely given a younger sibling was given the same name, the father's name is correct on the record, and there are no other deaths for this name in the record between 1783 and 1790.
