Birth
Helen Ralston Cochrane was the daughter of James McConnel Cochrane (b.1819) and Isabella Anderson (b.1819). She was born on 2 March 1861 at Dunipace, Stirlingshire, Scotland.
Marriage 1
On 27 October 1883 Helen Ralston Cochrane and William Gibson Hutchison were married in Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland.
Immigration
They immigrated to Canada in 1884.
Helen and William had five children:
- Jane Ann (1871 - 1891)
- Helen Euphemia (1884-1964)
- J. Hutchison (1886 - 1886)
- Isabel Eunice (1888- 1976)
- Joseph (1890 - 1917)
Widowed
Her husband William died on 3 October 1902 in Lamerton, Lacombe, Alberta, Canada. He is buried in St. Monica's Anglican cemetery in Mirror, Alberta, Canada.
Marriage 2
On 6 May 1903 Helen married Frank Joseph Brawn-Taylor (1865 - 1944).
Death
She died in Calgary, Alberta on 3 September 1929, aged 68.
She is buried at the Burnsland Cemetery [1]
