Eben Henry Cobb was born in Holden, Worcester County, Massachusetts. He died 19 Apr 1969 at Vernon, Tolland County, Connecticut. He lies buried at Grove Hill Cemetery, Rockville, Tolland County, Connecticut. His father was Lyman Force Cobb, his mother Clara Anne (Smith) Cobb and his wife was Vera Marie (Hamilton) Cobb.^[1] Find A Grave suggests his birth date was 17 May 1890, but the date does not appear on his stone and Find A Grave does not provide a reference. Several other sources (see below) indicate a birth date of 17 July 1890.

According to the United States Social Security Death Index, Eben Cobb (age 79) died in Apr 1969 at Tolland, Connecticut. His birth date, as recorded on this filing was 17 July 1890.^[2]

Eben Henry Cobb, born 17 July 1890 in Holden, Massachusetts, registered for the draft in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States on June 5, 1917. At the time he registered he was single and employed as an envelope cutter by Whiting Patterson Co.^[3]

Eben Henry Cobb (age 29) and Vera Marie Hamilton (age 25) married on 10 April 1920 at Chebeague Island, Cumberland, Maine. HIs occupation was listed as foreman and hers as clerk. Eben's father was Lyman Force Cobb and his mother was Clara Smith. Vera Marie Hamilton's father was Sherman Meade Hamilton and mother was Alice Edna Dyer.^[4][5][6]
