Lydia Clutterbuck (married name Lester) was born on 30 May 1860 in Williamstown, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Lydia (Baker) Collins and William Blakesley Clutterbuck.^[1]

   Colonist, Volume LVI, Issue 13521, 15 July 1914, Page 1 Our Murchison correspondent states, that Mrs William Lester, an old and greatly respected resident of Matakitaki, near Murchison, passed away on Tuesday night. The deceased had been ailing for some considerable time, and the end was not unexpected. She leaves a widower and a grown up family, who will have the sympathy of a wide circle of friends.
