Nathaniel was baptised on the 26 May 1793 at St Lawrence Parish Church, Stroud, Gloucestershire, England[1]
Nathaniel Clutterbuck married Mary Steel on 13 Jan 1834 in Eastington, Gloucestershire[2]
In the 1841 census Nathaniel Clutterbuck (40), Mary Clutterbuck (35), Jasper Steele (15), Rachel Steele (15), Robert Steele (10) and lodger George Niblett (20) on Pakenhill (Pagans Hill), Stroud[3] Nathaniel Clutterbuck 40, Mary Clutterbuck 35, Rachael Steele 15, Jasper Steele 15, Robert Steele 10 and George Niblett 20.
In the 1851 census, Nathaniel Clutterbuck (57, unmarried labourer born Stroudwater, Gloucestershire) is lodging in Ealing, Middlesex[4]. It's an unusual name, so we can assume the "unmarried" is a red-herring.
Nathan died between 1851 and 1861, but probably not in Gloucestershire. Record not yet found.
