Biography

Margaret (Clune) Brogan came free to the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)

Margaret Clune was born before 1830. He parents were Cornelius Clune and his wife Winifred (nee Griffin).

In 1839 Cornelius and Winifred Clune with their 7 (seven), children, Cornelius, Maria, Patrick, John, James, Margaret Elizabeth, and Bartholomew, emigrated to the colony. Travelling as assisted immigrants under the Bounty Scheme, the family arrived in Port Jackson n the Colony of New South Wales on the 8th of January 1839 on the ship "Charles Kerr".

She married Peter Brogan in 1848 in the St Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Yass, New South Wales.[1] They had eleven children and made their home at Goulburn, New South Wales.

Margaret passed away, aged 78 years, in 1911 at Goulburn, New South Wales.[2]
