Biography
Sarah B. Cline was born on 25 Feb 1857 in Claiborne, Tennessee to Daniel C. Cline and Elizabeth "Betty" Posey. Her father died in 1863, and her mother re-married to Reuben S. Cline, Daniel's brother. So, Sarah's uncle became her stepfather. In 1870, at age 13, Sarah lived with her mother and stepfather in Claiborne, Tennessee. [1]
Sarah married James Franklin Chumley on 19 Feb 1880 in Claiborne, Tennessee. [2] The couple started their married life in Tennessee, but later moved to Collin County, Texas. They would have 12 known children together, all born in Tennessee.
Sarah died at age 76 on 29 Nov 1933. [3] She was laid to rest at Plano Mutual Cemetery in Plano, Collin County, Texas. [4]
