Biography

Mary was born in 1822.

Mary came to Western Australia with her parents on the Parkfield, arriving on 19 March 1841.^[1]

MARRIED. At Australind, on the 31st December, by the Rev. J. R. Wollaston, A. M., Harley Robert Johnston, Esq., of Alverstoke, on the Brunswick, to Mary, third daughter of Marshall Waller Clifton, Esq., F.R.S.^[2]

They had five children before her husband's death in late 1853.

She was listed in 1877-1889 Almanac as at "Moorland".^[1]
