Biography
Ella (Clements) Nitchie was born in the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)
Ella May Violet Clements was born in 1883, her birth registered that year in Geelong, Victoria, the daughter of James Clements and Mary Ann Harris.[1]
Marriage. In 1906, in Victoria, Ella married William Charles Nitche. [2]
Over the next fourteen years, they registered the birth of six children in Victoria.[3]

Sadly, in 1921, Ella and William lost their infant daughter, Norma. She is buried in the Old Church of England portion of the Geelong Eastern Cemetery. [4]

- NITCHIE.-On the 1st November, 1921, at her parents residence, 27 Lonsdale st., South Geelong, Norma Winifred, the dearly beloved youngest daughter of William Charles and Ella Nitchie. Aged 1 year and 6 months. [5]
Ella Amy Violet Nitchie passed away 15th July, 1950, aged 67 years. Her death was registered Geelong, giving Geelong as her birthplace: her parents were unknown to the informant. [6]
Burial. Ella and her husband are buried in the Geelong Eastern cemetery where their headstone reads: [7]
