Biography

Dionysia Clements was born about 1560, based on the 1579 year of her marriage.[1]

She married John Sutton at Great Snoring, Norwich. England, July 5, 1579.[1] Dionysia and John had two children:[1]Their marriage entry in the Great Snoring church register simply states their names John Sutton and Dyonisia Clement and the date 5 July 1579.[2]

About fifteen years later, they moved approximately seven miles north to the parish of Wells-next-the-Sea, known simply as "Wells."[1]

At Wells on March 2, 1615/16 her husband, John Sutton a miller, recorded his will designating "houses Landes and tenements boeth free and Coppihold" to his daughter Margaret; son John; and wife Dionis. He was buried at Wells on March 22, 1615/16.[1]

Dionis (Clements) Sutton passed away at an unknown later date.[1]
