Biography
Cisely, the daughter of Sir Francis Clarke of London, was born there about 1630.[1] She died about 1669.[2]
Cecily married (1) Robert Jadwin; (2) Peter Montague; (3) Nicholas Jurnew.
(Wills of Westmoreland County, VA, 1654-1800, pg 10, by Augusta B. Fothergill): Journew, Sisley, 13 January 1667; probate obliterated. My husband Journew's debts to be paid; my sons Robert Jadwin and John Jadwin and Jeremiah and Cisely; to Bartholomew Jadwin the son of John Jadwin when he arrives at 21 years. Jeremiah, died 1697, called "son" in the will of Cecelie Journeau in 1667. Jeremiah is mentioned as a child in her Jadwin marriage. Clara is mentioned as his sibling. Cisely is unidentified.
