Biography

Cora “Dixie” Anne Clarke was born in 1862 in Arkansas to Malvina Deluren Doak, age 36, and George Washington Clark, age 50. She had four brothers and one sister. Cora married Richard V Legrand in 1884 in Texas. They had nine children in 18 years. She died on June 20, 1928, in California at the age of 66 and was buried in Inglewood, California.
