Biography

Adna was born in 1765. He was the son of William Clark and Elizabeth Sutliff. He passed away in 1843 in Lorain Co., Ohio. Ashland Co may be a better descriptive location but it did not exist until 3 years after his death on Feb. 24, 1846. Quotation from his pension, "On March 4th 1843, the pensioner certified that he had resided in the State of Ohio for a period of 3 yrs and previous there to he had resided in Brown Co., NY"

There is a problem with the DNA confirmation statement for Adna's father.

William Clark III is not "confirmed with DNA" since he is not a descendant of Adna. The most recent common ancestor (MRCA) for the testers is Adna himself.

I highly recommend using the DNA Confirmation Citation Maker to create and/or validate DNA source citations.
