Paternal relationship is confirmed through Y-chromosome DNA testing. Wayne Clark, FTDNA kit #975866, and his 5th cousin, Ray Clark, FTDNA kit #B1714, match at a Genetic Distance of 1 on 37 markers thereby confirming their direct paternal lines back to their MRCA Adna Clark. FTDNA indicates that the probability the two share a common ancestor within the last 8 generations is 91.73% and within the last 8 generations is 97.28%.
Paternal relationship is confirmed through Y-chromosome DNA test results on Family Tree DNA. Ray Clark, FTDNA kit # B1714, and his 8th cousin 1x removed, Dale Charles Clark, FTDNA kit # 903383, match at a Genetic Distance of 4 on 37 markers, thereby confirming their direct paternal lines back to their most-recent common ancestor who is Joseph Clark, the 8x great grandfather of Ray Clark and 7x great grandfather of Dale Charles Clark.

There is a problem with the DNA confirmation statement for Adna's father.
William Clark III is not "confirmed with DNA" since he is not a descendant of Adna. The most recent common ancestor (MRCA) for the testers is Adna himself.
