When Philo Clark was born on November 24, 1812, in Cattaraugus County, New York, his father, Nathaniel, was 37 and his mother, Anna, was 30.

In 1830 Philo receved two sheep from his father when he died.[1]

He had three sons and two daughters with Abigail Perry between 1836 and 1851.

1850 37 year old Phile Clark was living with his wife Abigail there four children Daughter Emaline age 13 and Ann age 9 There two sons Lewis J age 7 and Carlton B age 3. Philos Elderly Parents were also living with them. Philo was working as a farmer in Java, Wyoming, New York.[2][3]
