When Philo Clark was born on November 24, 1812, in Cattaraugus County, New York, his father, Nathaniel, was 37 and his mother, Anna, was 30.

In 1830 Philo receved two sheep from his father when he died.[1]

He had three sons and two daughters with Abigail Perry between 1836 and 1851.
