Susannah Clark was born circa 1712, the daughter of Thomas Clark and Elizabeth Bailey of East Haddam, Connecticut[1][2]
On Feb. 21, 1732, she married Stephen Cone, the son of Stephen and Mary (Hungerford) Cone, in East Haddam[3]
They both joined the First Congregational Church Ch. on Aug. 27,1738.
They moved to Bolton, Tolland County Connecticut, in 1745, among the earliest settlers of that part of the Colony.
Stephen early took a prominent part in the political affairs of his community, and was elected to the Legislature in 1750, 1751, 1752, 1754, 1755, 1763, and 1764
Their children include:
Jared, was born Dec. 31, 1733, who married Christiana Loomis; and died April 11, 1807
Susannah, born April 1. 1735, who married George Griswold; and died June 16. 1815
Stephen, born March 24, 1737, who married first Thankful Strong, and second Sarah Badger
Zachariah, born February 23, 1739, who married Mary Gilbert; and died about 1802.
Eleanor, born February 5, 1741; and who died unmarried in Bolton in May, 1790.
Mary, born March 20, 1743, who married Rhodal Thacher
Mahitable, born Dec 1, 1744, and died unmarried in Bolton April 3, 1766.
John, born May 26, 1746, who married Patience Strickland; and died Oct. 5, 1777
According to some of the sources noted here, Elizabeth died in Bolton 28 Jul 1770
