Lt. William Clancy was a Prisoner of War during World War II.


Biography

William Clancy was a Liberator bomber pilot. He was a prisoner of war for a year. He was rescued by the American Fourteenth Armored Division. Along with the Purple Heart, he received the Air Medal and the ETO ribbon with two stars.[1]
