Notes for MELINDA CISSNA: "Melinda Cissna IV, Stephen III. Lived at Chillocothe, Ohio. Married John Renshaw and went to Bellville, Ill, east of St. Louis, Mo.":
Melinda Cissna married my third great grandfather, John Renshaw. In the 1850 census she gives her birth as 1800 in PA. In the 1860 census she gives 1800 in Ohio. In 1870 census she gives her birth as 1800 in Ohio. The family went to Belleville, Illinois and lived there until death: source, descendant Betty A. Roach, 2001, internet message board. Note from Bill Cissna: Melinda born circa 1800 in Pittsburgh/Allegheny County who married John Renshaw about 7 September, 1820 in Chillicothe, and she died circa 1877 in Wood River Twp., Madison Cty., IL.
