Stanley Christie married Lydia Barnett Hodge in 1928 in Victoria. [3]
On 10 June 1940 Stanley Christie, born 13 September 1905, enlisted in the Australian Army, service number VX22849, and he served as a Private with the 2/2 Australian Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment. He was discharged on 15 October 1945. [4]
His wife passed away in 1987.
He passed away in 1990 aged 85 years[5]
