Emma Chiverton, daughter of James Chiverton and Eliza Young, ^[1][2] was born in about August 1860 in Freshwater, Isle of Wight. ^[1][3] She was baptised on 28 October 1860 in Freshwater, Isle of Wight. ^[2]

On 7 April 1861 in Comp Lane, Freshwater, Isle of Wight, with her parents James Chiverton and Eliza Chiverton and her siblings Stephen Chiverton aged 18, Mary Ann Chiverton aged 14, George Chiverton aged 12, Jane Chiverton aged 10, Caroline Chiverton aged 8 and Frank Chiverton aged 2. ^[1]
