Biography
Rosa was born in 1850 in Northam, Western Australia.[1] She was the daughter of George Chitty and Mary French.
She married Thomas William Cook on 18 August 1868 at Toodyay.[2] They had fourteen children over 26 years.

After an illness of many months, Mrs. Rose Jane Cooke died in the Northam Government Hospital on July 23. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chitty, who came to this State not many years after the first settlement. She was born on the Buckland Estate 75 years ago.[3]
