Harriet China was born on February 18, 1868 in Sumter, South Carolina, United States and was the daughter of Randolph China and Rebecca Nettles.^[1] She married Harvey Orvin on March 17, 1887 at the Baptist Church in Foreston, South Carolina.^[2] She died on April 09, 1932, in Georgetown, Georgetown, South Carolina, United States.^[3]
