Biography
John Chew was part of a Southern Pioneer Family.
Crozier provides an abstract of John Chew's will: "CHEW, JOHN, St. George's Parish, d. May 11, 1755, p. July 6, 1756. Wit. Francis Cammack; Jas. Marye. Ex. Joseph Brock. Leg. sons, Robert and John; daughter Mary Beverley Brock; daughter Hannah Chew; Mr. Harry Beverley, guardian to my son, John Chew; Joseph Brock, guardian to my daughter Hannah Chew. " (Page 295 Will book B).
John was born in 1706. He was the son of Larkin Chew and Hannah Roy. He passed away in 1756. [1]
