Biography

Mollie was born September 6, 1902^[1] in the Russian Empire. Her parents were Samuel Cherim and Jennie (Unknown) Cherim, both Russian immigrants.^[2]

Mollie emigrated to the United States with her mother and five siblings in 1910, six years after her father made the trip.^[2]

In 1920, Mollie lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States with her parents and five siblings.^[2]

Mollie married Samuel Bell in 1927,^[3] and the couple lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States in 1930,^[4] but were divorced not many years later.^[5]

Mollie married Louis Hirsh July 4, 1940 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States^[6] and they had one child.^[7]

After Louis died in 1974,^[8] Mollie moved to Florida, where she died in December 1976.^[1] Mollie is buried in the Ohev Sholom Cemetery in Williamsport Lycoming, Pennsylvania, United States beneath a stone inscribed "Beloved Wife and Mother".^[9]
