WILLIAM CHAPMAN – Born 1896 Concongella (Stawell). Married Julia Elizabeth Griffiths 17/12/1924. She was born 1891 Glenorchy and died 16/07/1972 Stawell Hospital. Her parents were William and Hannah Griffiths (nee Cooper). William's occupation was shown as laborer and he died 24/12/1971 Concongella and both William and Julia are buried in the Concongella Cemetery – grave with headstone. They had 3 children – William James (born 26/12/1926 and died 26/04/1992 – buried Concongella cemetery, grave next to parents William and Julia), Vernon Charles (also decd) and Jean (Married Ivan Pickert)
